Diners rave about the fantastic portion sizes, often declaring the meals a great bang for your buck. The bananas foster French toast garners high praise for its flavor, mimicking a delectable banana cream pie. The classic breakfast of bacon and eggs comes with generous hash browns and homemade jam, showcasing the diner’s commitment to local flavors. Happy hour drinks, especially the delicious Bloody Mary, are a favorite among patrons for their unbeatable value. Attentive staff contribute to a comfortable dining experience, enhancing the friendly and inviting environment.
Most Disliked
Some visitors note a higher price point that may seem steep at first glance. However, many agree that the large portion sizes often justify the cost. A few customers mentioned specific food items that didn’t quite hit the mark, such as a less-than-stellar French toast compared to other offerings. The busy weekend brunch hours mean a packed house, which can lead to a little more noise than some diners prefer. While the service is generally quick, peak times might yield slightly longer wait times for a table, especially on Sundays which see 100% capacity.

Food was amazing and you get a bang for your buck! Husband ordered the bananas foster French toast and he said it tasted like banana cream pie - yum! It also came with bacon and eggs! Amazing value! I ordered the bacon and eggs breakfast and it came with a generous portion of hash browns and an English muffin with homemade raspberry jam. It was so good!

First time dining at Shelly’s this morning and it won’t be my last. I appreciate them being open on the holiday (new years day). Delicious and savory breakfast. Tasty Bloody Mary for only $7. Most impressed with the attentive and proactive staff.

Thanks Shelly’s for a couple of great breakfasts for our crew, great (and very very fast) service, and friendly staff! It was nice to meet you, personally, too. Yesterday we got the burritos and today we had several French toasts. We will be regulars when we’re at work in the area!

This place is great! You may look at the prices and think it's a little high but the portion sizes more than justify that. One of the best waffles I've ever had, amazing eggs Benedict as well. Staff is non nonsense, straight to the point which is my preference. Overall this is absolutely a great place to stop through, highly recommend.

Really good breakfast, big portions. A little pricy buy its a local owned business and it had good food so where can you go wrong? If you get the breakfast burrito, it is huge! I got it fried with a side of the Ranchero sauce and it was awesome with leftovers for the next day! My husband wasn't a fan of the French toast, will get regular toast next time.

Are you a fan of old school diners? Put this one on your list. It’s only about 10 minutes from SeaTac airport. Lots of egg dishes - sammies, Benedicts, pancakes… my wife got a breakfast veggie sandwich and she said it tasted “home made,” with Wheat bread, over hard eggs, cheddar cheese, avocado and pico. She chose hash browns and her plate came out very full. Since it was around $13, I pieced together several sides to make a meal for $10. I had two, very large eggs (made over easy like I prefer), English muffin and sausage patties. I stacked them up and put some of her pico on top. Delicious! Coffee was good, hot and served in a mug you’d likely find in your home cabinet. Ambiance was colorful, local folks who seemed to be enjoying their meals and time together. Each plate coming out seemed big enough to share if you eat light or are on a budget. Or take the rest home for a bonus meal! Wait staff was attentive and prompt.

Extensive menu and everything is spot-on. Great service, delicious options and substitutions. Get a chocolate peanut butter banana shake! Meats are tender, french toast was perfect, biscuit is almost like a yummy scone from the fair, my omelette was huge and perfectly done. My new favorite diner!
